Rachael Edge, better known as “Redge’ (she/they), is passionate about artistic expression for individual and collective healing, as well as political action and social justice. Now working as an Expressive Arts Therapist, she has a BA from Trent University, Masters of Environmental Studies with a concentration in Youth-led Community Organizing from York University. With over 10 years in the non-profit sector, primarily working alongside young people, emerging artists, and frontline youth workers, she is committed to trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approaches to her work, and therefore acknowledges that she has to continue to unpack and understand her intersecting identities of power, privilege, and oppression, as female, Queer+, chronically ill/(dis)abled, educated, White, settler who lives and works on stolen land.
