Build Your Zoom Facilitation Toolkit
Thursday and Friday, June 10-11 | 9:00am-12:30pm PST
Participation at both 3 1/2 hour sessions is expected.
In this 6-hour training you will learn to create the same lasting impact with your online groups as you do in your in-person programs. We will show you how to leverage Zoom to facilitate programs that deliver a deep, interactive, and connected learning experience.
Whether you are new to Zoom or have been using it for months, this training is designed to advance your skills of using Zoom for maximum impact. We welcome anyone who works with youth or adult groups: youth workers, educators, trainers, program leaders, facilitators, team leaders plus more.
PYE is a Washington State Approved Clock Hour Provider – WA state educators can earn 6 clock hours for partipation in this workshop.
Fees and Scholarship
Sliding Scale – $125/200/275 USD
Partners for Youth Empowerment employs a SLIDING SCALE as a tool to promote economic justice and provide access to all. We invite you to self select your registration fee using our Sliding Scale as a guide. Based on where you fall on the sliding scale, you are welcome to choose the rate that works best for you. Scholarship & Grants
If you need additional financial support in order to participate due to your personal situation or to the inequalities of the exchange rate to the US dollar, submit an application to our Scholarship Program. If you apply for a scholarship, you will be contacted when a space becomes available. Please note that we may not be able to get you into the training date of your choice.
Reid KuennenSeattle, WA, USA
Reid Kuennen’s work is rooted in their belief that everyone, regardless of age or background, has a valid desire to be seen and heard. Steeped in the power of arts and imagination-based practices, Reid has designed, facilitated, and managed experiential-learning programs for organizations in the U.S., Canada, Bolivia, Egypt, and Spain. With an equity lens, they collaborate with youth and educators to create safer and braver spaces where groups build one another up to be their most creative and courageous selves. Reid’s most foundational work has been with Partners for Youth Empowerment, Power of Hope, IndigenEYEZ, Salish School of Spokane, Reel Grrls, YMCA Camp Seymour, and Young Women Empowered. On their list of superpowers, empathic listening and inclusive humor rise to the top.
When not facilitating, Reid’s busy filmmaking, gardening and creating board games with friends. They live in Seattle, Washington with their cat, Simon.
Silvia GiovannoniRio de Janiero, Brazil
Silvia is a Rio de Janeiro-based creative facilitator, yoga teacher, and movement practitioner specializing in helping people and organizations access more creativity and wellbeing through embodied practices that draw upon the full range of our body’s intelligence. She is a senior facilitator for PYE where she has led workshops, trainings, and conferences around the globe with a diverse range of organizations. Silvia is the founder of www.movinginto.co/.
