Helena is a chemical engineer turned social entrepreneur who brings over 15 years of experience developing and managing programs for volunteers, non-profits, and businesses. She has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Masters in International Administration with a focus on finance and marketing. Helena joined the PYE team in an operations role in 2014 and served as US Director from 2017-2020, growing PYE’s North American partnerships and new business. She is passionate about creating a world in which all youth have access to worthwhile experiences that prepare them with the creativity, emotional intelligence and sense of social responsibility they will need to face uncertainty and change in these coming decades. Helena’s passion for youth stems from witnessing her three teenage children navigate their experiences.
