Parting Letter from Gwyn Wansbrough

We envision a world in which all young people lead creative, purposeful lives.

Gwyn Wansbrough

Dear PYE Community,

I want to express my deepest gratitude for our work together. It has been an enormous privilege to have had the opportunity to work with so many of you, in so many different ways and in different places and spaces over the past 10 years.

I remember my very first Creative Facilitation in Toronto back in 2005 with Charlie Murphy, Rup Sidhu and Sara Kendall. This was my incredible introduction to the world of creative empowerment and I remember being so blown away by the experience, and deciding at that time that this was the work I wanted to do.

Since then, I have been continually humbled to be part of this community that moves in this world with commitment, passion, creativity, care, courage, authenticity, hope, and joy.  I am truly in awe of what you do and who you are as people and as a community making the most valuable and urgent kind of change for the world we live in right now.

I remain committed to this work and to this community of exceptional people. PYE is very well positioned to continue making a big impact in creating opportunities for present and future generations youth to thrive. I am very excited to see the ways in which this work continues to blossom.

With much love and eternal gratitude!

Gwyn
