Tasha Belix

Tasha is a registered psychologist who has specialized in youth and families for over twenty years. She has advanced training in affective neuroscience, trauma-informed care, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and emotion-focused family therapy. In addition to being an author, Tasha is Co-host of the “Raising strong kids through divorce” podcast and founder of the “B’tween Girls” program that builds essential relationship skills, confidence, and emotional regulation in girls grades 4 to 9 through skills-based group therapy. Tasha is also an approved therapist for Lionheart Foundation, who provides subsidy for counselling support for girls with anxiety-based issues. Tasha has served on the staff of PYE’s Power of Hope youth camp.
